Usha Kiran elected as chairperson of Madan Bhandari Foundation again

Kathmandu. Usha Kiran Bhandari has been elected as chairperson of Madan Bhandari Foundation again. Bhandari was re-elected as chairperson at the third national conference held at Baneshwor Banquet in Thapagaun, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu today. The conference has formed a 41-member working committee with Pemba Lama as secretary of the foundation and Chintamani Bhattarai as treasurer.

The members of the central working committee of the foundation, which was formed for a period of three years, are Dr. Bheshraj Adhikari, Prof. Dr. Premsagar Chapagain, Prof. Dr. Shakar Bhandari, Mahendra Bahadur Pandey, Sushil Pyakurel, Dr. Bimala Rai Poudel, Degendra Pandey.

Similarly, Tika Dhakal, Krishna Prasad Bhandari, Ramsharan Pyakurel, Ghanshyam Koirala, Milanraj Dharel, Amardhwaj Lama, Dr. Kundan Aryal, Dr. Kailash Bhandari, Dr. Kalu Si Khatri, Dr. Suresh Tiwari, Mina Bhandari. Similarly, Gopal Guragain, Khemraj Pokharel, Manju Chaudhary, Raj Mohammad Ray, Bina Shah, Saroj Yadav, Shivkumari Gotame, Sarita Neupane, Khem Lohani, Balkrishna Shiwakoti, Gopal Shrestha, Deepak Subedi, Ramsharan Dhungana, Damodar Bairagi have been elected as central working committee members.

Similarly, Dr. Nirmal Bishwakarma, Bal Bahadur Acharya, Ram Bahadur Raut, Mina Budha, Tika Bista, Prof. Dr. Nanda Bahadur Singh, Hardev Joshi, Saraswati Nepali and Kishore Chandra Dulal have also been elected as central members of the foundation. The conference has been concluded with one central member to be added later. The conference was inaugurated on Saturday morning by CPN-UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

The Foundation has been supporting the national aspiration of 'Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepalis' by promoting the ideas of 'Jabaj', the then General Secretary of the UML, Jana Neta Madan Bhandari, through creative work in various fields.
