Discussion on the socialist-oriented economic and political model

Kathmandu - Stakeholders have discussed the contribution of the people's multi-party democracy in the change, development and transformation of Nepali society. At a program organized by the Madan Bhandari Foundation, they said that there has been a radical change in the political sector due to the principles of the JABAZ. At the program, Dr. Prem Dangal presented a working paper on how the JABAZ guides the way to socialism. The working paper mentions that the contribution of all sectors of the economy should be increased in the work of completing the changes and achievements currently underway in building prosperous socialism. Dr. Dangal emphasized that we should move forward by eliminating economic, political, social, cultural, inequality and discrimination right now. In the discussion, it was mentioned that since production and productivity are the stages of growth, we should move forward by focusing on all components of the economy. It is said that the changes brought by the JABJ included the end of monarchy, adoption of federal system, proportional participation, secularism, and making arrangements for socialism in all political and economic matters.

Participants in the discussion, Dr. Kundan Aryal, Gopal Khanal and others gave their suggestions about the socialist-oriented economic policy model.
